I am going to be honest: It was extremely tempting to start this post with an "I told you so." But instead, I will try to say this in a different (read: nicer) way: For the past couple of years I have been hoping and praying every day that people would see how everything is better in pink and how Regina George's famous "On wednesdays we wear pink" should not just be a t-shirt slogan, but a real life rule (#Alma2020). I wanted to walk into stores and be completely in awe by all the pink clothing items. Well, it seems like my prayers have been heard, because pink is the it color for spring! Finally! I have been stressing for ages how pink is the best color out there and now all of you are seeing it too, so I am not trying to say "I told you so", but that is exactly what I am saying.
Now back to pink. During the past Fashion Weeks, we were able to see this pretty color in different shades, styled in many different ways. Personally, I prefer either a softer, pastel like shade of pink or a bright Barbie pink, styled with darker colors like black or metallics. For example, I would love a soft pink sweater combined with a black leather skirt or trousers. Mixing soft with tough, as I love it! Below, I have selected a couple of pink items that I want to add to my closet for spring. Enjoy!

Don't worry, your eyes are not decieving you. This really is a new and proper outfit post. Finally! You guys have no idea how badly I wanted to go out and shoot pictures in the past months, as I really had so many great outfits! On friday it finally happened and I was able to convince my sister to quickly take a few shots, even though it was snowing and really cold. I also thought it would be cute to take outfit photos in front of the Markthal in the snow, but sadly there is no snow visible :(
Now back to this outfit. I love combining soft and cute items with something that is a little cooler or tougher. I would say that this has always been part of my style as long as I can remember. In this outfit I have tried to achieve this by combining a cool military style coat from Zara with a soft and girly knit sweater with a little lace detail from H&M. And of course, my supercool star printed ankle boots from Missguided are there to add a little extra touch to the whole look. I really mean it when I say that these boots are my best purchase, because wow I love them so much and they make every outfit so much better! And yes, that means that you will be seeing them a lot more around here :) (also a little side note: my hair doesn't always look this messy. It's because of the wind and snow ;;)

Wow my last post was almost a year ago! I think this is the longest break I have ever taken from blogging, but I can totally justify it by saying I had to put all of my thoughts and energy into graduating and getting that MSc degree. This kicked blogging completely off my priority list, especially when I was writing my thesis, which drained all the inspiration and energy from my brains.I did often wish to come back to blogging during this time, as I really missed writing and my blog has always been a place where I could pour all of my creativity in. However, the good news is that I closed that chapter of my life, which I will probably dedicate a post to in the future, so enough rambling and let's move on to the real content of this post!
Every morning and evening I do my daily Instagram and blog visits, which is my little happy time. I enjoy seeing all the great pictures and outfits other bloggers put together and it always leaves me inspired. At least that is untill I see some of the items listed below. It makes my mood go from 'Oh I'm so happy and full of love and peace' to 'Call the damn fashion police, if this is not a crime than I want to poke my own eyes out with a fork to unsee this'. And then I pray to God to make it all stop, so we can go back to normal fashion trends. This is just my personal opinion, so no offense. Now let's have a look at the disasters I'm talking about.
